Government funding for childcare has recently expanded to offer funded (free) childcare places to families on low incomes (from work or benefits) as well as to families of working parents earning under £100K each.

Government funding for two, three and four years old can be use at My Montessori Way, we are open 48 weeks a year as opposed to school term -time opening which is 38 weeks of the year. As we are open year round, please note that we offer funded places on a stretched basic only, this means you can receive:

Up to 12 or 24 hours a week (depending on the funding scheme you have applied for) rather than the standard 15 and 30 hours that applies to settings open only 38 weeks of the year.

Stretched funding applies for 48 weeks per year and exclude 2 weeks in Christmas and 2 weeks at the end of August (we are closed)

As setting we use our funded hours during 9am-3pm. A voluntary charge applies to anything that is not covered in the Early years funding provided by the government.
