Children engage in self-directed activities using Montessori materials that promote:
Integrating the Montessori approach with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) creates an educational journey that prepares children for life.
Practical Life: Activities like pouring, buttoning, sweeping, food preparation that build coordination, independence, intelligence, and concentration.
Sensorial: Materials that refine the senses: touch, sight, sound, taste, and smell; through hands-on exploration.
Language: Tools for developing vocabulary, reading, writing and communication skills.
Mathematics: Using materials that help children understand numbers, counting, and mathematical concepts.
Understanding the world: Geography, science, art, and music activities that introduce children to the world around them.
Learning is child-led, with adults acting as guides.
Progress is documented through individual learning journals.
And as part of our inclusive and enriching environment, we are proud to offer a bilingual setting in both English and Spanish. Through engaging, play-based Spanish lessons, children are introduced to a second language naturally and enjoyably, enhancing their communication skills and cultural awareness.
